PA-8 has decided to cancel our summer kickoff party originally scheduled for 26-28 June 2010. It doesn’t look like our area in Pennsylvania will allow large gatherings by then and the decision to cancel was in the best interest of our great club. We do not want to risk having a large gathering and have law enforcement getting involved.

PA-8 is holding our first shindig in a long while on June 26-27-28, 2020 - so get your sleds and RV's or whatever you travel in/on and get up to the Susquehanna River for some Brotherhood and bands in 2020. First official day of summer is just a few days before our gig, so we're calling it the Summer Kickoff. It's in campground environs, an old school paddle wheel ferry takes you and your sled across the river, strip clubs within 10 mins, great bars. - biker games on Saturday morning, and THREE BANDS on Sat afternoon and night.
Mark your calendars and reserve the date. We're looking to have a great time and see the whole nation!

The solstice heralds the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere.
The timing of the solstice depends on when the Sun reaches its farthest point north of the equator.
The word solstice is from the Latin solstitium, from sol (sun) and stitium (to stop), reflecting the fact that the Sun appears to stop at this time (and again at the winter solstice).
In temperate regions, we notice that the Sun is higher in the sky throughout the day, and its rays strike Earth at a more direct angle, causing the efficient warming we call summer.
This summer solstice is the day with the most hours of sunlight during the whole year.
Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Many countries celebrate it on the third Sunday of June, though it is also celebrated widely on other days by many other countries. Father's Day was created to complement Mother's Day, a celebration that honors mothers and motherhood.
In the United States, Flag Day is celebrated on June 14. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened on that day in 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress. The United States Army also celebrates the Army Birthday on this date; Congress adopted "the American continental army" after reaching a consensus position in the Committee of the Whole on June 14, 1775.
Independence Day, also commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States of America commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from Great Britain (now part of the United Kingdom). Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the National Day of the United States.

Almost two months ago, we lost our Brother Trouble to the original "C" word...Cancer. At the time, COVID-19 was just beginning to show its ugly teeth and life was pretty much placed on hold.
As we begin to see a shimmering of light out there now, it is time for us to gather together, and celebrate the life of a great man and Brother.
On Saturday, 20 June we will be holding a Memorial Service at the Ernie Pyle VFW in Indianapolis, IN. The doors will open at 1100 for visitation with an official service taking place at 1300.

If you can put some time into your calendar, please try to pencil in 20 June and find your way to Indiana. His extension Angel and his Brothers would love to see you all and share the many great stories that where experienced with him.
If you will need a space to stay, just let us know. There are many homes all around the city of Indianapolis that will have no issue at all in providing some good old Hoosier Hospitality.
These are some mighty strange times we are in right now...the likes none of us have experienced before. While the reason is somber, it will still be great to see everyone and we hope that you can make it.
