Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network, and celebrated in more than 192 countries each year.
Easter, also called Pasch or Resurrection Sunday, is a festival and holiday celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred three days after his crucifixion by Romans at Calvary. It is the culmination of the Passion of Christ, preceded by Lent, a forty-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance.
Easter is a moveable feast, meaning it is not fixed in relation to the civil calendar. The First Council of Nicaea established the date of Easter as the first Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon, the full moon that occurs on or soonest after 21 March (taken to be the date of the equinox). Ecclesiastically, the equinox is thus reckoned to be on 21 March (although the astronomical equinox occurs on 20 March in most years), and the "Full Moon" is not necessarily on the astronomically correct date. The date of Easter therefore varies from 22 March to 25 April inclusive.
Good Friday is a religious holiday, observed primarily by Christians, commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover. It is also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Black Friday, or Easter Friday, though the last term properly refers to the Friday in Easter week.
Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in all four canonical Gospels.
In many Christian churches, Palm Sunday includes a procession of the assembled worshipers carrying palms, representing the palm branches the crowd scattered in front of Jesus as he rode into Jerusalem. The difficulty of procuring palms in unfavorable climates led to their substitution with branches of native trees, including box, yew, willow, and olive. The Sunday was often designated by the names of these trees, as in Yew Sunday, or by the general term Branch Sunday.
As some of the world has come to a stop, Tennessee has slowed to a
crawl. With the restrictions nationwide, TN1 has decided to postpone our
Annual VA Fundraiser and Charter Party, scheduled for 17-18 April. We
held out hope until the last minute, but it just doesn't make sense to
put our brothers and families in jeopardy.
Hopefully we will all be able to get together soon. Stay safe and
healthy. See you on the road.

After much discussion this week, Louisiana State Chapter has made the decision to postpone the annual scheduled for April 4, 2020. With the current state of closings locally due to the Corona Virus scare and new presumed positive cases popping up every day in the area, we felt it best to delay the annual and let this pandemic run it's course. As soon as we have rescheduled the event we will send out all info.
Due to the latest decree from the Governor of South Carolina (no gatherings of people in groups of more than three), we have no recourse but to cancel the scheduled SC State Annual Party scheduled for April 24th and 25th.
If the event is rescheduled for a later date, we will send a notification to the Nation.
With our Spring Opener/Field Events Day scheduled for May 2, and the state restrictions lasting at least until May 5, we had no choice.
By unanimous vote, our Field Events Day (Spring Opener) is delayed until current restrictions on gatherings ends. We intend to reschedule the Field Events Day at that time and will let everyone know.
Meanwhile, be safe out there my brothers. The world is indeed upside down.

I know all of you wanted this, and I'm pretty sure everyone will enjoy after all that is going on. We have rescheduled the Bourbon Run to October 16-18. All the hotel info is still the same so get your rooms reserved. All of us here in KY and IN3 look forward to seeing everyone .
Brothers, due to COVID-19 the Coronavirus and the order set by Alachua County, we will not hold our Annual Party scheduled on April 18 April 2020. This county has told us to say home and our POTUS has extended our distance from one another until the end of April. We hope to reschedule our annual for a later date.
Additionally, we will not hold our open house in April at our clubhouse.
I hope you all are taking the necessary precautions to stay well to not catch this terrible virus. One thing we can be proud of is that we have the background of taking orders and doing what is right for our country. Please be safe and take care of your family. I hope to see all of you in the near future.
Arbor Day (or Arbour in some countries) is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees. Today, many countries observe such a holiday. Though usually observed in the spring, the date varies, depending on climate and suitable planting season.
We as a club need to remain healthy and vigilant as the world continues to lose its mind regarding the coronavirus. Your safety and well-being are extremely important to me. After several conversations with club Presidents , chapter brothers and with a great deal of consideration, I have decided to cancel our State Meeting and Annual.
We will look at our calendar and find a date in which we can have our annual. A State meeting will occur prior to NPM. I apologize for any inconvenience. Stay healthy and safe.
