Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated primarily in the United States as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Brother Lion’s brother, Gil Conaway (aka Sidekick) passed away on 11 Nov. Sidekick has been a great supporter of USMVMC for over 12 years and has participated in countless rides and events during his time. Sidekick will be missed deeply and I am sure many stories can be told of his rides with us. If you’re in the area and you have time, please join Brother Lion and family in the Celebration of Life for Sidekick for one last ride for a great Brother.
