Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a celebration held on May 5.
The date is observed to commemorate the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. In the United States, Cinco de Mayo is sometimes mistaken to be Mexico's Independence Day—the most important national holiday in Mexico—which is celebrated on September 16.

We are going to be
hosting a continuation of Cinco de Mayo starting Friday evening May 6th ,
2017. This will be the first annual “THE AFTER PARTY”. Everyone bring your
appetite , thirst , and a swim suit…or not. Rough camping is available on
the property.
As promised we have put together the menu for the party at Oger’s house on May 5th, 6th and 7th. We will be raffling off a Hi-point 995, 9mm, the weekend of the party. Only Brothers at the event can purchase tickets and the winner will be drawn after dinner on Saturday May 6th. 25% of the proceeds from the raffle will go to the brother for the furthest ride to get to the event. Just a reminder, we have plenty of land to pitch a tent, bedrooms and floor space will fill up fast. The pool will be open and if weather is like the last 15 years water temp should be 71-73 degrees.
